She doesn't deserve this, the constant worry
She doesn't deserve this, the never ending pain
But she knows there is no way to avoid it,
It's an unwelcome guest that will come knocking again
Anger, her fire, has all but burnt out
with it has gone her want to speak up '
Pain and regrets have filled in that hole
Making her feel a thousand years old
And each word you say, each negative remark
Leaves yet another scar on her heart
Etched into the surface, with so many others
To stay there as a reminder of her struggle forever
Days come and pass, the situation stays the same
There isn't enough money, there isn't anything at all
Strength, and love is lacking in her home as well
A pillar of strength, the one that you can trust
She stands strong and tall as much as she can
But even pillars can grind into dust
From the strain of the burden which they carry
From the guilt of the love that she's had to bury
Deep inside, she says no one can find it
But someone somewhere, can see inside
the light on her heart, a place left unmarred
By the knives of other's hateful remarks
Still shiny, and new, and open to loving
It makes up all of her being
That one little spot, invisible to most
you can only see, when you look close
It means more, to him than you think
Bringing her down from the brink
of Self destruction and anguish,
And curing this sickness of hers that she hides
Repairing the damage, slowly each day
Finding the sickness, clearing it all away
Sewing the lacerations, and sanding the scars
Taking each and every piece of her apart
Putting her back together, Repairing her wounds
A should to cry on, a desire to understand
The challenges she faces, and the ones he does as well
Eliciting feelings that they've never felt
Love can cure all, or brand the world as diseased
It's all just a matter of what your eyes see
In the darkest of places, encompassed by pain
Love decides if you'll wake up again
To a world full of Sunshine, or a world full of grey
Depending on whether or not it whispers your name.

92% of teens would be dead if Abercrombie & Fitch said it wasn't cool to breathe. Put this in your sig if you are the 8% who would be laughing.
